Unwashed, carded Norwegian wool from spælsau. Completely untreated and natural! Can be spun or felted as is. It smells a bit like sheep, but is incredibly easy and pleasant to work with, and is particularly well suited to spinning for beginners.

You can wash the wool by putting it in very hot water and leaving it there undisturbed until the water is at room temperature, and then air dry it hanging, for example, in a towel or a firewood sack. The smell of sheep will then disappear, and you can use the wool for, for example, hair or beards for figures or stuffing for stuffed animals.

Unwashed wool should not be stored for a long time, as the wool grease can go rancid. It will then be more difficult to clean. Moths also appear more easily on unwashed wool, so we recommend moth-proof storage (like in a freezer) until the product is washed.
